To this end, we have a solid CSR strategy in which we establish sustainable codes of conduct for both employees and suppliers;
Have you heard of the 3R rule? It refers to the verbs reduce, reuse and recycle, a positive trend for the planet that we are already following in our company.
Find out below what actions we take on a regular basis to comply with the 3Rs and promote an environmentally friendly policy.
1. Ar Workout we REDUCE…
- Energy consumption in our logistics centers and offices by using energy-efficient lighting.
- Power consumption by shutting down IT equipment at the end of the work day and minimizing the use of devices in standby mode.
- Paper printing thanks to the digitization of all our processes (trainings, check-in and check-out during services, hiring documents, etc).
- Carbon emission, by having one day a week with the possibility of teleworking in our offices. In this way, we avoid the employee’s commute to the workplace, while promoting personal and family reconciliation.
- Carbon emission from vehicles, by encouraging the use of public transportation among our workers, especially, in large cities. We send local employees to events, as far as possible, who are close to the location.
- Air conditioning and heating consumption in our facilities; At Workout we regulate the temperature efficiently and use air renewal systems to maintain air conditioning and ventilation in the different work areas at the same time.
2. At Workout REUSE…
- The paper. We encourage sustainable practices such as double-sided printing, using sheets printed on one side only for drafts, etc.
- Office supplies We provide notebooks, corporate pens and sustainable merchandising, composed of recycled materials.
- Uniforms Hostesses, waiters, loading and unloading personnel… all our professionals have at their disposal uniforms that they can use during several services.
- Glass plates, cutlery, glasses and bottles in offices to avoid the consumption of single-use plastics during lunchtime.
- Electronic devices instead of buying new. Whenever possible, we upgrade and improve the internal components of the devices to extend their useful life.
3. At Workout RECYCLE…
- Paper, cardboard and plastic. We have recycling points in strategic locations throughout the company, such as work areas and kitchen areas.
- Other waste and defective work materials. Thanks to our waste collection service, we take the materials to the appropriate recycling facilities.
- Uniforms We always opt for quality and durable garments to reduce the need for frequent disposal. In any case, when uniform garments are no longer used because they are damaged or worn out, we recycle them with the help of our suppliers specialized in sustainable fashion.
